Xray tool online

Posted by Blog Baby on September 21, 2007

Xray is a free tool that displays CSS coding on a web page. For instance, if you have an issue between 2 overlapping containers on your page, click on Xray and then the containers and it will give you all the properties and values of both containers. Or, you could drop Xray onto any other web page you want to know more about. Xray display ID, Class, labeling, margins, padding, on and on.

Firefox does some of these same things, but this was worth sharing. Just drop Xray into your Bookmarking area, open the site you want to know about, and click once on the Xray bookmark. Presto!
