Posted by scott143 on September 26, 2007

Copyright infringement on the web is a big problem, you cannot just take any image and use it on your website/blog, that would be a copyright infringement. so here is a list of 100 websites that have a database of free images to use on your website/blog.

“If you’ve ever tried to design a website or blog, you’ve probably felt the need to add images to your creation. It can be easy to see the Internet as a free-for-all, but images belong to the people who created them. Staying legal means you’ll have to either create your own images or buy them from stock sites. Fortunately, there are a number of sources for free images, and we’ve collected them here. So read on for 100 sources where you can find free stock images: and don’t worry — they’re all legal!”

This is big problem in the school system. Students like to use images when creating their school projects but most sites are blocked by the school system because some of the images may be inappropriate and they are concerned about the copyrights. I am looking forward to going back to work to see how many of these sites will be available for our students. Thank you for sharing.
